Do I need 700mm wading capability in central London?

Living in Marylebone, I'm not going to go off-roading that often.

I'm always joking to mates that I need the 700mm wading capability and the low range gearbox just in case it all kicks off.

When I lived on Gloucester Place we had a similar event, did not flood the street but wiped out dozens of basement flats. Luckily I was higher up.

Fatty is perfect for central London, not only to deal with flooding but also the millions of pot holes and terrible diplomatic drivers! Tom

One of the genuine reasons for moving from a nice sensible car to a “horrible” 4x4 in the first place was to fight back against the menace of “traffic calming” speed bumps and speed cushions - and that’s in Cornwall! I can only imagine what it must be like in London now
