Deplorable side steps and tow bar compatibility

Hi All. I will be getting an L405 secondhand. It has deplorable side steps. Are there any issues with these and fitment of a tow bar?

Thanks

J

Laughing I think the autocorrect has it spot on - they're deplorable Rolling with laughter

I have them (albeit switched off) and a deployable tow bar - I can't see any reason why they could possibly be incompatible Thumbs Up

I always laughed at electric disability ramps but my 5'0" wife struggles to get in the Rangie when she is wearing a tight skirt. My next one will have them.

Chopdogs, towbars for 405’s need a support structure under the boot (as the shell is aluminium) this should be taken into account if you are to fit one yourself or look for a used item?

These are not usually offered for sale with tow bars offered for sale on eBay for example...

Just so your aware sir Thumbs Up

Thanks re the warning.

I will be having it fitted professionally. Looking at a Westfalia or TowTrust detachable bar. Both have the full support structure supplied. I'll not be allowing it to be fitted if not......
