FBH disabled?

I didn’t think I had a FBH as there wasn’t a remote with car, no valve on the bulkhead and timed climate isn’t an option on the screen.....then after i spotted the exhaust while investigating coolant / heating issues I took the inner wing off while doing lower / upper arms and found this

So.....has it been disabled? Can I enable it again? Any fuses etc I should check??

Unfortunately not, I’ve had the codes read before and it’s never been mentioned, can the tool turn it off without registering an error?

My 07s FBH worked if the car was running ( it cut in once
engine was started) but i had no control over it until I enabled it with the iid tool and then the screen controls became active, i didnt have the remote control unit ( receiver)in the boot so i bought one second had and fitted it with an aerial. The power and control cables are already prefitted. 2015 4.4 AB

From memory the diesels all have one and they cut in when the temp is below 12 or 13 deg c to help the engine get up to temp quicker whether they are all turned on so that they can be manually used dont know - Think that is why the bulk head valve is not there The valve stopes the engine being warmed up so that the interior can be

Appreciate all the reply’s some great info!
So the FBH maybe working without any control from me, Would/could this affect the heating in the cabin eg the drivers side is well behind the rest of the car on heating up,I figured this would be down to the control valve mounted on the wing I thought this was a two valve control sending to the drivers / passengers side maybe It’s sent via the FBH to the drivers side? is there any way to check my set up with out the tool?.......lots to investigate and explore I think!!

The two valves on the side are restricted flow one for each side and they work on the return not the feed again it is a while since I did all this and mine is a petrol but the cooling system is nearly identical

My guess is that the drivers side is not opening fully if you take the engine cover off and the pollen filter box off you can access all the pipes and feel which is getting warm and which is not

A very kind offer, I’m thinking of investing in one myself as I’ve a ‘lumpy’ idle issue.......

Would a faulty injector throw up a code?
The last time I had lumpy idle was after I ‘cleaned’ the MAF and MAP sensors, I’ve replaced these and all appears well
