Hi mate,
the side lights were on, i think it was just the angle of the picture.
Really happy you are not having the issues i had with my previous car.
When these cars are right they are pretty damn nice
I will post more pics up when the detialler has finished ceramic coating it

Congratulations. Very very nice car.

I'm about to order one soon. Just wondering how much for ceramic coating for such a big car. Thanks

Don't know what SR is paying but down here I've been quoted around £1k for a complete inside and outside detailing on a new car.
Just exterior will be about £750/800 apparently

To be honest, i not sure how much it is going to be.
I have been told there are various hardness levels of ceramic coating and this can effects the cost and who can actually apply it.
I have having a level 7 put on my car, i do believe it goes up to level 9.
I have seen a short video last night of where he was up to, so far really impressed.
Roll on tomorrow

Thanks for the information.

Is the coating offered from Land Rover or third party?

mine is done by third party. I am not ware of any dealer that offers ceramic coating.
If you are going to get it done, my advise would be to tell dealer not to touch the cars paintwork at all.
It will save the detialler time to undo what they have put on.
Mine underdecent light was a mess

SR is correct, it's cheaper if the dealer does as little as possible to the new car (definitely don't wax it) so the detailers don't have to remove wax over the swirls that are inevitably there from washing!

The only protective coating dealers offer is something like Supagard which isn't ceramic and is not applied by experts. It is also very costly in comparison.

Look for a reputable detailer and you should get it done with a guaranteed life of 3/5 years (depending on which coating they use), for under £1000.

Sorry not to have read the whole thread...I will do, but I have just been to look at a new AB 2018 and will not be buying one.
Yes, I love the new ICT and ICE but I cannot buy a car with those seats. They are just awful Please LR change them? I cannot believe that they have produced something that looks out of the 70s and very low class. Not a RR or Bentley competitor on seats alone. When you change them to a more uptown design, I will buy a new car. 2006 S/C owned from new. Black, sand with black inserts. Shes a thirsty girl. ( now gone)

Looked at the new nodel yesterday, and for me the seats looked ok and where comfortable to sit on, the things I did'nt really like where the new front grill and the new exhaust, but we all have different opinions!

Well it's home and looking spot on.
The guy who has done it has had a photographer down to take some proper pictures.
Will be ready in a couple of days.
My iPhone doesn't do the car any justice.
Really pleased with it.
