Car Wont Start - Potential Ignition issue?

Hi,

New to the website and the land of RR Ownership (2 months) - Recently away for work and when wife went to start car all the fault lights came up on the TFT once the car started, she shut it down and locked/locked and tried again. This time TFT dials did not appear, range rover on the sat nav unit but flashing amber light on one of the knobs

I have had a new battery fitted and exact same again - 1st time started with fault and then blank TFT. I've been advised it could be the ignition button but is there anything else worth trying first such as the disconnect of -ve terminal on battery?

Just before I left I noticed that when unlocking the car there is a high pitch "double beep" . The car unlocks without issue and when locked no beeps and mirros fold etc - 2 x spurious alarm activation as well

Wifes at a loose end with this weather and unfortunately I'm away

Bow down Big Cry Big Cry

The new battery may have failed or a terminal isn't tight but it does sound like a battery/voltage problem.

If you are getting alarm going off then worth checking bonnet switch, check handbook to see if double beep indicates attempt at forced entry, which faulty bonnet switch might trigger? Only Range Rovers since 1988
