Battery query

Hi, anyone on here know why the MY10 3.6 needs an AGM battery? It’s coming up that on various factors lookup tools.

Not sure the reason why but I have just replace my my 11 battery the original was agm so replaced with agm.

At a guess I would say because of the amount of electronics on the car. DVD etc. Regards

Ireland 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Zermatt Silver

The facelift models have the AGM battery. It also has different software that controls the charging circuit as AGM batteries are charged using a different cycle to a standard lead acid battery. 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal

spot on, thats true, so go for AGM battery. My 10 plate also has AGM battery.

I've got a standard battery on my 59 plate (10MY) it was on when we bought it. Should i change to AGM? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Main dealer changed mine (2008 TDV8) and put AGM on. A true friend is someone who worries about letting you down........ But never does.
