Advice please on whether My18 or My17

Hi everyone,

A few weeks ago I decided to order my18 5.0 petro AB with buget about 120k, however recently I found on the autotrader my buget can buy a 67 reg 5.0 sv dynamic (less than 1000miles) with all the options I want. Which one do you think is better ? I am in dilemmas again. Please help Bow down Bow down Bow down

I've been looking at them too.....I think 100k would buy you an SVA in a month or two.....not many cars right enough....

I think personally the older car is a better purchase but thats just me. I like the cross stitching and details like the red pipe int he wood etc.

I think they all come with Towbars too by the looks of it, like a fully loaded run out model. A lot of them seem to have them, but go quite quick I noticed.

I'm due to drive one in afew weeks but can't change until June at the earliest, but overall I thought the new model wasn't massively different unless you're getting exec seating options etc. the dash is nice but tbh, didn';t feel that much different from MY17 car.

Hope that helps. all smug in my new plug!

Thank you for the comments.

Unfortunately the my17 Svas I'm interested have all gone. Big Cry They do go very quickly, and I have no idea when the next one will come.

There is bound to be another one, and in theee months time you might get a MY18 Thumbs Up

Better still buy a MY17 /MY18 soon, Diesel FFRR , all singing/dancing AB and save 40k, buy a smart car for the little journeys and buy lunch with the change. Rolling Eyes

The fuel saving will then buy dinner Very Happy Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Thanks for all yours comments

Today I had test drive on both MY17 SVA5.0 and MY18 4.4, I found that MY18 interior is much better with higher quality, such as infotainment, leather parts and dashboard. Also received not bad deal on MY18, so I decide to take MY18 order, downside is the delivery will be in August.

Have you experienced the meridian signature sound system? Is it worth to spend 4000+ to add this option?
