I really want to buy a 2007-2009 4.2SC but i found a 4.2SC 2006 with 141k for a reasonable amount. I offered $6k USD. Let's see if I get it.
I was thinking go over it with a fine tooth comb, just replace parts and repair as needed except for fluids. I hate to say it but I am considering putting it on steel springs if any air springs fail.
My last 2006 lasted to about 120k miles so I've never owned one past that. I think the top of the engine may need a bit of work hopefully the seller had the tranny and differential oil changed out regularly. OffRoadRover.com An American Western Range Rover Off Road Blog
