UPDATE:

Got on to the bank about this. They've reversed the payment to PayPal and refunded me the money. They did say that if PayPal kick up a fuss, then they'd take the money back again.

Just had confirmation that PayPal have caved and not asked for the money back! Thumbs Up 02 Vogue

Paypal do indeed suck though spend most of their time 'dry bumming' the little guy. All the while making billions in charges! My Previous RR's!

Paypal are pap. Messed my wife around big time a year ago. They had a security issue and someone used my wife's paypal account to pay for something. This put her overdrawn in the bank which meant she incurred charges. They refunded the money that was stolen but initially refused to pay back bank charges. After months of hassle and bringing in FOS they caved and paid up. Like others, those she did speak to from paypal were rude and incompetent. FFRR TD6 HSE

Well, it seems its not over yet

Out of the blue, I had an email from Paypal stating a money transfer had been rejected from my bank and that i am now showing a negative balance! Sure enough, when I checked my PayPal balance, it was showing -£30.95 ( the cost of the courier).
I then get an email from the courier, thanking me for my order. I replied stating I had placed no such order. I then got a reply saying it was for the order I'd originally placed, which had resulted in the payment being recalled. The cheeky barsteward had charged me again, without my say-so! Evil or Very Mad

PayPal have emailed me again saying that they are aware that the payment has been reversed and they are now investigating. I just know that this will go in the couriers favour (again).

NEVER AGAIN will I use PayPal. They truly suck. 02 Vogue
