My last four cars have all been unseen until delivery/collection, but always with the option to walk... so the gods can be kind... await your good news Thumbs Up Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

I tend to buy over the phone, as everything I always want is never in Glasgow!! I think when youre buying main delaer stock you've got a high chance of getting a decent car, but tbh it can be subjective to the sales person and how much they need the deal, so I always drive a hard bargain and pick poor timings for them to get a sale but tbh I tend to go for high spec and low owners as a preference as it helps reduce the risk of problems I feel from different owners treating it differently. Somthing with 4 owners in 4 years vs 1 owner for 4 yrs tells me something.

Anyway good idea to go see it as it's fun too!! Loom foeard to seeing the pics!!

OH and STAN - is it in that order? lol all smug in my new plug!

All,

We saw the car on Saturday and it was absolutely lovely. They had the car cleaned the night before and kept it indoors, so was beautifully presented when we saw it.

One of my main concerns was just how bright the Pimento interior would be, We were pleasantly surprised, as it is much more subdues than in the pictures and makes a nice change from the de rigueur black interiors we always seem to buy. Interior condition exceeded expectations. The seats were perfect and no untoward smells.

The bodywork was 9/10. I found one small mark that had just been touched up. The salesman said that they don't paint panels as they never seem to match perfectly...Not sure about that, but hey-ho.

Unfortunately, by the time we completed the paperwork, swiped some brochures and downed the 'free' coffee, they had moved the car inside again, so no pictures.
However, it is still on the LR website:

Overall, we are over the moon. Thank you all again for your wise words and encouragement...it really helped.

Best wishes,
Narinder

Looks pretty good, I like the interior - different. Not so the exterior colour Black with drug dealer windows - common! Whistle Geoff

Very nice! I've always liked the red leather. Privacy glass is fine in my opinion, I feel like I'm driving a goldfish bowl without it.

Wizard, Thanks we really like it. The tinted window thing is debateable, but they are good for keeping the interior cool. In an ideal world, I would have a very light tint on all the windows for a more balanced look, but I know you cannot do anything on the fronts. Thanks again.

You're welcome. It is debatable but there are far more prestige vehicles with privacy glass than without. Enjoy it!

I like the red interiors, but senior management doesn’t so it is something I have had to pass on..

Tinted windows? If u have them and like them fine, but for me they change the colour of landscape and FFRR need to be taken to beautiful rugged landscape...and enjoy the unadulterated views

Enjoy! Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Many thanks for the comment. I had to seek 'Home Office' approval for the red interior. Mrs D could see how it might appeal to my inner tart Very Happy
