United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Giverny Green
My Giverney Green L322 4.4 V8

Hi a guys, new to this forum but been on the Disco 3 one from the early days.

I’ve just bought this old girl, with a view to turning it into an off road play thing.

I’m told that they are quite rare in Giverney Green colour.

She had been standing for a while, and left dirty and un loved.

Here’s the pictures when I picked her up.

She needs a few things sorting, so will start on those this week.

Sorry for duplicate post

Made an error on my first post as I forgot to add the photos!

So yesterday I gave the old girl a good clean!

I suspect she has not had one for a long time!

List of jobs to be done.

So here’s the list of work to be done.

New cable for the passenger door. As it will only open from the inside. Now completed.

Sort out the DVD player in the boot so the rear screens work. Now completed.

Fix and replace the poor lights with led units. Now completed. Photos to follow.

Replace noisy bearing on air con compressor, will leave this to my Land Rover independent garage boys.

Decided I just don’t like the old head unit and tape player, and of course the tv does not work as it’s the old analog system,so but the bullet, and ordered one of the Eonon units that everyone on here seems to fit. It should be delivered today.

Get some Goodyear DuraTrac tyres fitted to better suit off road driving.

Looking good. Giverny L322S are relatively rare but it doesn't make them sought after or ones you must keep in genuine condition at all cost.

As for the plaything bit, a good set of tyres and a suspension lift using an IID Tool will be a very good start. It is an awesome machine as it is!

Thumbs Up l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

Thanks in advance,

I use the IID tool with the Bleutooth option, very useful and easy to use.

You can find it anywhere online, even on eBay really. l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

Thanks Rob,

Mines not any where near as good as your supercharged version sadly!

My car has done 140k, but it’s had some serious work done by the last two owners in the previous 3 years.

It’s had the following work done.

New brake disks and pads all round.

All new brakes lines to replace the rotten ones.

New air suspension compressor.

New gearbox and low range actuator motor.

New coolant header tank.

We’ve also just fitted a new water pump and serpentine belt and tensioner pulleys.

Hopefully she should be good for a while!

Just keep going and look after it, as long as maintenance / faults don't take the pleasure out of driving it they are worth the effort Thumbs Up Range rover 4.2 SC 06MY.
