Disc change....

So this afternoons little job was changing the rear brake discs.
Good thing too, as the shoes where Censored , never mind the disc on the left side !

Has anyone had any experience with discs going like this?
In all my years of landrover I've never come across this, only the usual wear marks .

New discs, shoes, and pads with new caliper on the left side as was thinking this was sticking...the right side was done a while ago.

Thanks to advanced factors for a very speedy delivery. Thumbs Up

 If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

The disc surface is typical of a very siezed calliper & maybe the handbrake hasn't been used for a while - lol.
One of the penalties of an auto - it's too easy not to use the handbrake & not realise how bad it's got. Paul,

Not wrong there. Thumbs Up

Hand brake on the RR is shockingly rubbish, not like the good old classic, defender set up on the back of the transmission.
I've just adjusted the hand brake again and it's on 8 to 9 clicks before it holds.....and then it's on only a slight incline .

My lc was far better in that department on a same set up!

Who needs a hand brake any how........ Whistle If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!
