Squeaking brakes

Hi everyone , two weeks into owning my 2011 L332 and found a annoying squeak as the car comes to a stop under breaking .
Its only the last part of stopping it happens so i dont think its worn pads?
It had a service and mot less than 1000 miles ago.
Any ideas
Thanks

the brembos are pain for squealing, usually the pads need a bit of brake grease on them to stop the squeal. Mine have just started to squeal again but thats because the pads are on their last legs.

If you are handy with the spanners whipping the pads out of the brembos is not too difficult. Little bit of grease on the sides of the pads will help. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I had the same as you Rocketuk and it became embarrassing, it actually was the front pads. Changed pads = noise gone. Unless you did the service yourself have a look at the pads, don't assume somebody checked them Thumbs Up

depending on what alloys you have on you may be able to see through the spoke with a decent light, so again may save any graft unless you have to.

I had the same issue and all the neighbours would know when I had just pulled up. It was in the dealers a couple of times and eventually they solved it by applying some anti-squeaking solution on the pads / discs that apparently they use for Land Rovers in the USA and it has just been introduced in the UK. That's what they told me anyway.... I need more help than most...sorry !!

Thanks again for the replys
Think it's a grease issue as two wet days with no squeaking
Will let you know what I find out
