Hi Have a rear window problem.
The windows only operate about 50% of the time
It's not the BCM as I have had that refurbished and can hear that ticking under the seat.

It throws up a fault of either short to battery or short to earth or similar.

So I guess can only be the motor, the switch or the anti-trap
Before throwing lots of money by randomly changing the above components, any idea of which one its more likely to be?
Has anybody had this fault before and solved it?

do they operate ok from the rear switches ,if so it might be the front drivers switch pack thats faulty... ... - .- -.

I had the same problem. It was basically the lack of use! The glass was stuck in the rubber and was helped down. I used a little rubber grease in the window rubbers and seemed to do the trick.

The front and rear window switches create the same problem. Looking at the wiring diagram, (p37-39) the front set of switches operate the BCM, so bypass the rear switches, so perhaps that discounts the switches?

I have greased the slides with silicone grease, so can rule that one out hopefully? But that would trip the anti-trap?

Before I greased the rubbers (ooerr missus) I could hear the window motors making a bumping sound so I’m assuming that was the anti trap kicking in when trying to wind them down.
