Didn't think you could do this on a car with a DPF as it prevents regeneration cycles? 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

I would not be blanking an EGR with a DPF fitted.

Having owned turbocharged cars for over 30 years they all put a certain amount of oil through the intake and IC. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

sorry for late reply, heres the story so far.
the dpf kept blocking up and nobody could find the problem,so i got it taken out and the egr blanked and a remap.
i put it through the DOE 2 weeks ago and no problems with emissions or soot.
i have taken off the intake manifold and the inside is completely caked with hard baked on soot and oil.its a wonder it was able to get any air at all. any ideas will help, one guy told me its too much presure in the engine maybe brought on by injector seals,or turbo seals.
thats all i know so far.

Soot + oil fouling of the intake is normal on these cars.

Here's my map sensor before I cleaned it and can only imagine what the plenum is like inside. It should be on my do-do list to take it off and clean it but I just can't face the mess. Doesn't seem to effect the drivability and a low revving big engine doesn't need lots of airflow. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
