Door Adjustment

Hi

I've been trying to track down why the passenger side is noisier on the mway than the drivers side, and have noticed that the passenger front door is slightly out of alignment - it's sitting too far back, so the top corner doesn't seal against the seal on the rear door nicely...

Looking at the hinges, there's 3 bolts on the chassis side on each - top hinge you can get to all of them, bottom it looks like you have to take the plastic trim off below the wing (below the side vent panel).

Is this right, or am I barking up the wrong tree adjustment wise? Smile

Cheers

Jon

For anyone else that wants to adjust the doors - the hinge to chassis bolts are indeed where you can adjust the doors fore/aft & up/down - the hinge holes are oversized compared to the bolts. It looks like you can adjust the door in/out on the other end of the hinge as well via torx bolts, and you can adjust the catch via torx beneath the plastic covers.

I managed to get everything fitting better just adjusting the rear door, didn't bother with the front as you'd have to take the lower wing apart.. Smile
