Dan - I'll take a couple of pics but my display look different to yours?

I have the Intravee II and the KCA wotnot but it really struggles to find playlists. I don't seem to be able to nail the control of it properly like your one.! It also does not seem to go "too" loud. Acceptable but sometimes I might just want to blast a tune. Does yours go "loud"?

Yes that is a very good deal , but i don't think it has an extension cable from the box of 3.9m ( my box is fitted in the boot) so that you can use the remote control in the front.

As for the iphone I don't know . 2004 Range Rover Vogue TD6

Yes Dan, I know about Intravee- that's why I was asking if the USB port on this freeview box would also work. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

I don't think so, out of curiosity, I plugged my ipod's usb cable into my dvd/surround usb port in the house and all the music is split into random folders, no song titles or anything. 2006 Mercedes CLS

I would do this except having an extra remote really doesn't apeal to me at all. I would much rather go for the Hybrid tuner that replaces the analog tuner.

Are these a quick exchange i.e could i change myself with little knowledge?

Where they located etc? Any links of where to buy.

Thanks

I bought this a while back off ebay, but never got round to fitting it

As you can see, the AV isn't connected to the plugs and I have no idea what pins they go to, as all 18 pins are occupied at either end:

I have emailed the seller (in Germany) to see if he has a wiring diagram, but I'm not holding my breath.

Since I now have the Freeview box, I'm keen to get this connected up if anyone can shed any light?

I've looked at the diagram on the first page, but the colours are different to this plug, so I'm not gonna poke around until I know for sure.

Looking at this pic from eBay, it appears that the AV cable goes to the smaller of the two plugs:

There are only two inputs as well (red and black) so I assume that once I identify which pins I need to replace, I'm ready to go. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

I may be wrong but the blue cable looks something the TV in motion cable?

My AV input lead did not have pins. The white plug from the tuner is plugged it into one end of my lead, and the other back into where the white plug goes on the tuner. Reformed

noddy, that's a TV in motion lead as Reformed said and the other looks a bit like aux-in for the later BMW radio modules (post 09/02). Does it have a small circuit board in heat shrink somewhere in the middle? If so, pins 3,4, and 10 in the small rh plug on the bm54 (marked as 'nicht genutzt'=unused in 'Kammer B' below)

Cheers guys
I know it's a TV in motion lead. I already have one fitted and I ordered this one as it was advertised as having AV inputs. That's how it was delivered.

I got it from a german company called VR Tuning- www.vr-tuning.com
They have .PDF files on their website, but they're all password protected. I'm pretty sure they sent me the password with the cable, but I've had it that long now, Ive probably mislaid it.

SteveMFr- thanks for the diagram. I'm not sure what's inside the bag section of the loom in my pic. I think I'll leave it sealed up as it's new and unused, just in case I sell it on. I may just buy the one in my second picture. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
