I've just had to have a new battery fitted, the tech didn't rest the battery monitoring system. I have an IID Tool so can reset it myself.

However I seem to remember reading a topic on hear that discussed the merits and de-merits of resetting, along with IID screenshots of the various voltage and ampere reading.

Spent the last half-hour trying to find that thread, any pointers?

Sorry I can’t find it either, but remember it well, Grofus and Nino were the main contributors.
For what it is worth, I changed my battery in June 2018, so pretty sure it was before that date because I opted to not do the iid reset and it has been fine since then.
