I tried to get mine into super extended mode but couldn't do it. As I parked on the grass and lowered it in came up with the super extended mode info on the dash. But I was in a rush to get out of car (the smell of the bbq) so I moved it so it could lower. Tried to do it now but no luck and holding the up dial and foot on the break for 10 secs didn't work either. Still looks high in off road mode tho. FFRR 4.2 Supercharged

States in 2011.5MY manual that extended mode cannot be selected manually. Maybe it came in a bit for 2011 then they took it away again?

It's still there, just that it cannot be triggered so easily, it's part of the offroad kit and D4/D3 and RRS all have it as well 2012MY RREvoque Dynamic Lux Plus Auto SD4 Coupe in Fuji White with full ebony interior

As you do when looking for something else in the Owner's Manual I have found the following note for the 2010MY and getting them to Extended mode

If the vehicle is grounded and traction control is induced the system raises the vehicle by 35mm to clear the obstruction.
Extended mode is activated automatically and cannot be selected manually..............

.......... Additional lift whilst in extended mode
When extended mode has been invoked and th automatic lifting of the vehicle has been completed, the driver can request request an additional lift in order to clear the obstacle. This can be particularly useful when Extended mode has been invoked on soft surfaces.
To request additional lifting wait for the raising switch indicator to extinguish, then press and hold the the switch (1) [the raise to off road height switch] for 3 seconds while also pressing the brake pedal.

So it would appear that for 2010MY only you have to trigger the traction control to get into extended mode and then by pressing the brake and suspension buton for 3 seconds you get "super" extended mode. I wonder why they changed it back to the original system for 2011MY? 2012MY RREvoque Dynamic Lux Plus Auto SD4 Coupe in Fuji White with full ebony interior
