RM - agreed that the SDV8 does not have a reputation for failure, but the dealership that I use had to replace a destroyed engine too, maybe about 2yo, was said to be a "farm car" with lots of heavy towing of horse boxes, cattle floats etc.which might have contributed. Was a warranty job, but the owner traded it for a new one rather than get the old car back with a new engine. I don't have any more details. Only Range Rovers since 1988 |
