Black smoke......STILL!

Hi people,
I recently replaced the common top two intercooler pipes on my 2007 3.6, joy of joys fuel consumption jumped from 22 to 26 mpg! However I still get an embarrassing stream of black smoke on hard throttle, not just a puff, continuous.....I shall look over the weekend but are there any more pipes to check??

There are actually 6 hoses - the top longer 2 are the usual culprits, but not always.
