2016 sat nav issues.

Vehicle had an android auto mmi box fitted, which replaced the fitted sat nav. When I disconnected and reconnected the as fitted system, when I use the sat nav I do not have the map displayed on the touch screen. I can program it and it knows my location and road I am on, and you get the junction view in the message centre and the voice commands. So this would indicate the map data is on the IAM and is being accessed.

My only current conclusion is that the map image for some reason is not being displayed. As looking at the how the system operates the map image is sent from the IAM to the TS via the LVDS cable and the image for the message centre is sent from the TS via the medium speed comfort CAN.

any ideas?
