Can anyone throw light on how to remove the nut off the buckle joint end have tried heat ,plenty of wd40 and I can't get a grinder in.
Anyone have any special tricks I don't know of to release it :

If you mean the one at the hub, I used a hacksaw on one side and a grinder on the other, along with a bit of help from a cold chisel

Do you mean the inboard end?
Electric reciprocating saw with 8 inch metal blades did ours - cut through both ends of the bush & bolt. Went through a few blades though as material is not soft.
Outboard end came undone with just spanners & wd40 Paul,
