Can a 07-12 S/C fit in a 1.83m car park?

Yes, another height thread.

Currently looking at 07-12 S/C, I can't find a definitive answer as to whether it'll fit in a 1.83m car park or not.

I've found all sorts of info, and I'm cutting it so close that it's hard to be sure.

So I've found this in a previous thread, which would be just enough in access height but it might be for 03-05 years.
B Overall height
- Access height 1 820 mm 71.7 in
- Motorway height 1 840 mm 72.4 in
- Standard height 1 865 mm 73.4 in
- Off-road height 1 913 mm 75.3 in

In access height, it fits under the 1.85 barrier at the Eurotunnel with not much to spare

1.83 might be possible but you'd really need to try it & measure your own car to be sure.

Depending on which antenna you have, that's possibly not the highest point as the roof is slightly lower at the rear (or is that just the L405 Confused )

Is this for long term use or just a one time thing ? There's the old let some air out of the tyres if it's just one time......

Not a one time thing I'm afraid, it's the work car park.

I'm in the same boat, I feel as though it might be possible ... could go either way!

Sent them an email inquiring about the extra low mode.

edit - they just got back to me

What about investing in a Llams kit for your beast.
I'm sure it would provide enough low clearance for your beast to fit under the height of the roof.
Its just a plug and play in your model.

Ah yes! That's the one I'd heard about. Thanks for the link, that's bookmarked. And sending him a PM. Smile

Not many members in Canada, even fewer willing to throw their truck under a garage door that just looks too low! There is a 2010/2 FFRR HSE in the neighborhood, but I have no idea who the owner is and am not about to start measuring it out on the street.

At this point I'm reasonably confident it will fit (with the Llams or equivalent controller). Time to go on a hunt for clean FFRR.

The easiest (most sensible) answer would to buy an IID tool and lower the access height then drop it to access before approaching the barrier.

Can the IID tool set just the access height ?

I’ve never tried, but thought I’d read that it lowers all heights by the same amount.
