Last service.... and warrenty work 405 4.4L

I just had my 2nd year service , was faultless and helpful so full marks to Lookers Chelmsford. It’s just a shame their sales guys are not a little more enthusiastic

That’s not the point

The car came back behaving like an F1 with a boy racer driver . Ok I exaggerate, very responsive is a good description, I’m pretty sure if this was to do with the remap/new software for the gear box which comes in under warrenty- anyway really changes the car’s performance.Well worth having done. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

He who dies with the most toys wins...

United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Causeway Grey

I purchased a new sdv8 back in May, and it seems like I'm having issues with the gearbox.
It constantly drops down to too low a gear, for example when turning right or left in town traffic it constantly seems to drop down to 1st gear and not use the torque of the engine.
Also, at motorway speeds it is constantly dropping down a gear, even when just feathering the throttle...
I just don't seem to remember my 2014 car behaving like this.
Is it me and are all the new cars like this, or should I get it checked out?
The engine just never seems to use its torque, but keeps changing down at every chance.... 2017 Range Rover SDV8 Vogue SE

Australia 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Bournville

Is the gearbox behaviour any different in sport mode?
