L405 driver door stuck shut

long time lurker finally joins
I have a 2013 RANGE ROVER 4.4 sd vogue se, today, the driver's door will not open, either from the inside or outside. Using the remote or door buttons, have no effect. It seems permanently stuck. The other doors work fine, lock unlocks with the remote and internal buttons.

Hi Guys
This morning, pressed the open button on the remote, and lights flashed, this time, No doors would unlock!,what fresh hell is this?
tried again, lights flashed, muted unlocking sounds. doors will not open. WTF!
then tried boot doors, they opened and then closed as normal. Tried to open the doors again, stuck fast! I HATE MY RANGE ROVER! Big Cry
I tried the boot doors again, they opened and closed as normal. Visions of massive £££££ to be spent before Christmas. Censored
Then I tried to open again, then,it worked! normal unlocking sounds, driver's door opens, and all doors work fine! my beloved FULL FAT IS BACK TO NORMAL Thumbs Up
I don't know what happened, maybe the Range rover electrical gremlins messing with me.
I LOVE MY RANGE ROVER, THE AFFAIR CONTINUES Very Happy
Thanks to all who gave advice Bow down

The range rover is a conundrum wrapped in an enigma. Low battery causes 1 door to refuse to open and the others work fine! Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Unless you have a very good battery gremlins start to get in.

What is the state of your battery and how old?

Hi Tinman
Now here's a thing, it was supposed to be new in 2020,but it says "low battery"(probably every 6 weeks), is that because the battery may be crapped out or due to my life change, I don't do much driving, these days,4k a year. Consequently, battery juiced up via ctek

Oi, Tinman, I resemble that remark! Rolling with laughter

Yes, I also think a new battery is on the cards, fullfats like nithing more than a new battery, yum-yum! Mr. Green

Think of your battery like diesel/petrol/screenwash/oil/brake pads etc. Laughing “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?
