Air suspension worries

On my way down to bath yeaterday my td6 developed a fault with the air suspension the lights went out on the centre console and on the dash I had AIR SUSP. INACTIVE. I had the IID tool with me in the car so i cleared the codes at the services and carried on my way great I thought until i got upto about 45MPH then it came back on again and again and agin every time i cleared it these are the faults as they come up on the display panel
1 ABS-MODULE 1/1 0X8A system can error
2 EAS-SUSPENSION 1/10X64 articulation vaidity fault
3 IP- INSTRUMENT PACK 1X1 0XBD ebv function fault received from abs ecu
4 LCM-LIGHT ctrl v12+ air suspension active /inactive
I would be grateful as to what im looking at as i have cleared the faults on it over and over again.
Humbly in your hands. Thumbs Up

Careful while you are away from home with all that resetting, you may find yourself down on the bumpstops a long way from home! Best left alone, especially if it is running at normal height. Just leave it until you can diagnose whether you have a height sensor problem or a leak airbag / pipe somewhere .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Have you had to change the bags yet?
What miles are you at?

They seem to go around the 100k mark

I think the important one there is:
>2 EAS-SUSPENSION 1/10X64 articulation vaidity fault

When I had this, the problem was the arm had popped off one of the sensors, so three height sensors were reading correctly, but one wasn't, leading to the validity fault.

Your problem may be as simple as this, or there may be some other problem with one (or more) of the sensors.

Don't suppose your tracking is out is it - the 45mph thing is similar to something I had in mine a while ago when some of the rear suspension bushes were changed and it needed realigned - the Air Supension used to lock out around 40-45mph but happily reset again. Could be completely wrong, but if your steering wheel is slightly off centre this can cause issues. Current Fleet:-

Sorry for the late reply yes the steering wheel is slightly off but I found that the nearside air bag is defective which I have brought another one just finding the time to fit once done it will go down to kwick fit for wheel alignment 👍
