TDV8 3.6 battery questions

Had a few odd errors crop up intermittently and after fitting new pads (started the car a few times then switched off)
It was flat so hopping the battery is dying and causing the errors.

2007 3.6 TDV8

Was it originally supplied with a AGM battery as at the moment there’s a Banner AGM 105ah fitted

Thanks that’s what I thought, when trying to buy a new one they just ask what’s fitted.

have a search on here, there are plenty of threads on what size fits.

Form memory I think that the 020 was a tight fit and may need, trimming to get it in easily. Now here's the rub, check your alternator voltages before you just bung a new battery in, if its not charging right it will fry the new battery pretty quickly.

The Bosch 020 S5 was the preferred one for a while but they didn't seem to last long on several occasions. the last few times Ive swapped batteries in the FF and the D4 I've put in a get LR one. Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

+1

2007 seemed a particularly bad year for alternators on TDV8's - there's been a disproportionately high failure rate

The full size battery for the L322 MY 07 is 020. I fitted myself a 020 Bosch S5015 12v 110Ah' It was a tight fit and physically larger than the on I took out that I think the AA had fitted several years previously.
I don't know what size battery these facelift L322's came with ex-factory?
