Playing with my new to me car today and I have Android auto, Waze and Google maps work like a dream, I had my dealer update to 18B as part of the deal, but I thought Android auto was only part of 18C, guess not Very Happy

Turn on developers settings in the android auto app on the phone (when not connected to usb), and click on show 1080p. That will fix the bad resolution on the screen

I don't use waze, but in the standard android auto settings on the phone you can tell it to always keep screen on. That should fix the problem

Has anyone managed to make android auto work wirelessly (I.e. without having to plug it into USB?)

It reads to me like this should be possible but I can only get it to launch when plugged in.

Thanks Thumbs Up
