Naked, Steps or Tubes...

As my earlier post opened a debate on what looks best and practicalities, I've mocked up three options..

Naked:

Steps:

Tube:

Photoshop was never a skill I mastered, but it gives you an idea. Thoughts? I like the naked look. Current:2011 4.4TDV8 Vogue

I like the look of tubes and have them fitted on mine, but the steps are more practical for getting in and out. Reformed

Deployable sidesteps is the way to go. Not sure they're available for the pre-2010 MY cars though.

Naked, personally I think tubes are really ugly and pointless. Steps aren't too bad and look best on black cars IMO, but looks wise they can sometimes make the car look dated.

So, it looks like most people like the look and feel of being naked. So a couple of questions:

1. If I remove the steps and front flap, I'll have to put new front flaps on, will these use or hide the holes left by removing the old.

and

2. Anyone want some OEM side steps? Current:2011 4.4TDV8 Vogue
