Sorry I think I got that wrong. This is what I did from an earlier thread.

Yes I did that quite a few times and no joy, just flashes 8 times. The confusing thing is am not sure I have the right remote now !! Some say the t91r remote is ok and some not, so really is confusing . Apart from VW etc T91r remotes, the Land Rover ones don't seem to have an on marked button just the heating element /fan sign

The sign is just painted on but everything else looks Identical. I would have thought it would be fine. I wonder if the R after T91 is significant.
What does the label on your receiver say? Just checked mine and it says T91... no "R"

Here is one with an on button but he wants £250 for it - is he serious?

Just checked the transmitter and like yours says T91. As you say that seller on eBay is having a laugh !!!!!!!!!
