NP. I am aware of that and have an extra wiring loom with relay, fuse, switch and deutsch quick connector to the lightbar. I will use the high beam shutter signal for relay control.

Craig mentioned an appropriate cable to use as power feed and it would save me a lot of time to get the direction to it and not having to trace the wiring diagram for hours. What I don’t want to do is to mistakenly connect to a 12V that is driven by an ECU output and cause a fault code or a destroyed ECU.

The best would be to find a direct connection to the battery as the lightbar circuit has its own fuse. I am reluctant to using the jump start points and am looking for another feed. And as this has been done several times by forum members I thought it would be a good idea to ask for help from the more experienced.

The safest way is to disconnect the plug fro your headlamp and meter out which pin supplies the high beam and use that as your trigger wire, then use the jump start post (underneath is a 13mm bolt head) for the battery + and next to the headlamp are several earth points sir… 👍

Ok, thanks Craig.

I had spotted as much but wanted to hear from you if there was another option as well. Then I am good to go, soon to be sorted. Thumbs Up
