Remote Locking on VOGUE

Hi all

This problem started last year but went away, now it has come back to haunt me.

First thing in the morning when I unlock the car, only the two front doors unlock. No matter how many times I re-lock and unlock the two rear doors and boot refuse to open. Once I have been inside the car turn the ignition on I can unlock all the doors via the switch on the dash.

After that I can lock / unlock the doors with the key for the rest of the day??!

But come the morning....... same thing.

Has anybody else had this? More importantly foiund a cure? RR Vogue 4.4V8

Damp in the circuits? Do you leave the a/c on?

The commands to open the doors are sent separately, rather than just a 12v pulse to all 4 doors like in ye olden days. So somethings interrupting the other signals, or preventing them from being sent in the first place.

I believe locking is handles by the BCM, which is very sensitive to damp air...

I know this is obvious but you are clicking the keyfob twice not once as it may be set to only open drivers door on one click....

If you leave the a/c on you wont get damp in the car or electrical gremlins...

I've already stated this is my "mission in life" to get everyone to use their Climate Control it's what I do in my spare time when I'm not picking up peices that have fallen off of my FF. It goes without saying, that doesnt leave me much time!
