Hill Decent inoperative, cured easy.

Just a quick note, two weeks ago I tried the HDC for the first time going done the lane to our house (it’s steep) and it work fine, great I thought.....pulled on the drive and tried to turn it off but the button didn’t do anything, hmmm well I hadn’t ready the destructions so left it until the next day when apparently it would have reset anyway.

But I got the “HDC Inoperative” signal..... Censored it, should have left well alone I thought. Drove around that day all fine apart from the occasional message, next day decided to investigate further.

Bloomin’ button was stuck down slightly, just needed lifting carefully each side of the switch with a jewellers screwdriver and the switch popped up, all was good after that.

I can only assume the previous owners sticky little kids left some residue there, all good now.

Just a heads up in case somebody else gets a fault, just check the switch is actually disengaging before anything else. David

Please let me know if my comments upset you, I may wish to upset you again.
