alternative to standard reverse lights????

bored again, so i did this ,

old reverse light units off and replaced with thin smd panels...i'm not sure i like them but its easy enough to put the OE ones back on...

They look good but need a lens over them to finish the look. Still think the bulbs in group buys are better option though. 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal

Well Bushy, the reason I specced those bulbs was because I had tried led bulbs from ebay, too long to fit without messing about.
Tried the cob light conversion, good but still messing around and a panel failed after a few months, and, as I found, they aint as bright as the "specced" bulbs.
Halogen bulbs were not much better than original.
Seriously chaps, if you want to see behind you in the dark, just buy them. They work. Thumbs Up

could do but i dont need much illumination here where i live and the OE ones with the cob panels are more than enough...

it was something that bouncing around in me head and i had to fit them and see what it looked like..
