Rear upper tailgate lights, are there 2 types?

Right, bear with me.... The 2 tailgate lights that are on the upper tailgate (not the number plate ones), one of mine was hanging out and got smashed when i shut the boot Big Cry

Ordered 2 new ones, part no: XDE000150. Look identical. But, different plugs on them, slightly.

The old lense that was smashed uses a T10 type bulb, the new lenses I bought need a festoon type bulb

Are there 2 types of lense with different connections? Like i said, they're almost identical, aside from the plug is slighty different shaped

Yours, confused...

The inner boot light has a different plug & take the festoon bulb. The tailgate lights as you say take the T10 bulb Thumbs Up

And yes they both look the same from the outside... Thumbs Up

Had the same issue recently - shaved the plug down just a hair with a sharp knife , fits the festoon type plug now
More light with LED festoon bulbs too I find 4.4 AdBlu Tractor

Cheers guys, shaved a little off each plug and hey presto - they fit! Embarassed

Cant believe how much brighter the whole interior is Thumbs Up
