Hey gonna_go_double_r

and this applies to Stan the Man

why oh why - don't we all chip together - as a Forum ( Yes I mean true enthusiasts of FFRR's ) - and buy things like this - say 100 members all chip in for everyone to use.

That way we have the kit and we do the jobs 100% perfect - instead of relying on Mortal Man & someone who's really got no idea.........

yes I quote: " SEALED FOR LIFE why change it "

makes you think ! Bow down

Hey Stan

Do we need to go to this extreme with our FF's

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qq1limA1C7w

I like to idea of the Panel 145VU card

after all - it looks to be the same principle all round - The FFRR a big beast !

.WHY do LR in all their wisdom ( when they spend millions on R&D ) say the gear box is sealed for life !!! - Its complete and utter Censored

The ZF specialist told me he had just got off the phone with a Range Rover main delaer service receptionist asking to comfirm if the "sealed" gearbox was in fact dry as he suspected and did not use oil at all (this is what he was telling customers who came in asking for preventative changes... Rolling Eyes )

Will your transmission drive okay in 4th, 5th and 6th gears and it’s just the shifts that are the problem? I’m just wondering, in your particular case, about issue #1 on the list.

Its normally so smooth it hard to tell which gear its in - thus when it "slams" I'm never sure if its 4-5 or 5-6. Can you configure the digital display to show the curent gear?

The first time the gearbox warning light went on and went into limited 3rd I think - during a gentle 60mph 2 hour stroll up the M1, and thus very few changes.

2nd time it did the same thing after a lot of hills and lots of changes.

Oh my - Words fail me ! - How can this be ?

Do they know oil lubricates ! - Would love to know what they thought was inside a V8 engine on a FFRR then ?
