Loosing power

Our 05 L322 vogue 3lt desel RR had to be recovered yesterday, we were towing our caravan to Rockhamton and it started to loose power it held 80kmh for a few hours and slowely lost power we had to pull over when we could not go up a small hill faster than 40kmh. I am thinking it maybe a fuel related, fuel pump, blocked fuel filter or maybe a stuck waste gate on the turbo, it is all guessing at the moment car is at the RR dealer and will be looked at on monday. Any suggested ideas most welcomed.

Australia 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black

Similar happened to me last year, cruising along then a sudden loss of power under load. Tested fuel low-pressure side and all good. The conclusion was the in-tank pump was not able to keep up under heavy demand so I change that and also the external pump for good measure. I was able to drive the car very sedately until the new pumps arrived 2007 TDV8 VSE
