I think you'll find the OP wanted to know more about detailing his car hence the title of the thread Rolling Eyes

Tim, can't wait to see the photos of you providing such a great finish to the FFRR! Laughing

2010 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

Embarassed Between October and end of February the FFRR didn't get washed once......... And being StornowaybGrey it hardly showed either, there again it only covered 30 miles in that time too....... John I think the Defender paint is beyond a valet/detail, it'll soon be a re-spray it needs as there isn't much clear coat left on it. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Buckingham Blue

Wow - my Buckingham Blue isn't quite as shiny or swirl free as that !

So I've hunted around a little, but want to get as close as I can to that finish without using machine polishers - so if I used the following - how close do I get ?

Double wash
Bilt Hamber Auto/Car Clay Bar Regular 200g Detailing
Poorboys Polish with Carnauba BLUE
Poorboys Black Hole 16oz Show Glaze (have never used a glaze before, but swirl removal would be good)
Meguiars #26 Professional Hi-Tech Yellow Wax Paste

Black hole is quite easy to use, effect is better if you put a bit of effort working the glaze, especially on deeper scratches ( I use a megs micro fibre cover foam pad).
I used chemical guys black light product this weekend for the first time, used it after the Black hole and before waxing. This is a hybrid sealant, not specifically for swirl reduction, but I noticed it had a noticeably positive effect Thumbs Up Gerry

Not necessary, but I did (dodo supernatural wax)
I also wiped down with chem guys V7 as a final stage.

Overkill? maybe but has a very deep gloss to the paint now.
