Hi, my TD6 has recently developed a loud clicking noise from dash area when I unlock it, and today the steering wheel adjustment has stopped going up and down (back and forth is fine) and is stuck quite low, would I be right guessing the motor drive has gone? Can still hear a whirring when I operate adjuster! I have a V8 Vogue that I am just about to sell, so could temporarily borrow any bits to try if needed. Also steering has seemed a bit notchy when cold recently, V8 is much smoother! Any advice gratefully received. Thanks in advance. |

On my TD6, the white plastic attachment that holds the motor in place had snapped. Haven't gotten around to fixing it yet, but if you remove the footwell cover you can get an easy look up in there to see if something jumps out at you. |
