Underside rust

I’m guessing the l322 suffers this as a common problem?

Rusty underside looks like the front subframe ish area.

I’m thinking getting her on ramps and hammerite direct to rust.

Wondered on peeps thoughts anyone else done this ?[/i] Regards

I think it's generally suffice rust unless it's lived on fields etc. I think people have been using other products to protect from further corrosion perhaps bilt hamber stuff but I've seen a few threads so a search should bring up some results.

The rusty rear arches, underneath the plastic side skirts and tailgate is what causes most issues. Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue

What’s rust under the plastic side skirts mate?

I know about the tailgate I have very small amount of rippled paint o need to figure out what to do with it and the inner rear arches I treated with hammerright direct to rust Smile Regards

The black plastic trims on the side of the car at the bottom. They cover the sills. If you take them off they sometimes, we'll mostly, start to rust under the rear by the jacking point. Best to have a look under there before it gets too bad and needs cutting and welding. Quite a few threads on this. Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue
