LED Hi-Beams - With Pics

I bought these for my fogs, but they didnt fit so I thought I'd stick them in the hi-beams as the Xenons give 99% of the light and the inners are really just used for flashing.

Where else?

This was proof of concept, I would now go for the 68 LED ones rather than 18:
£11.99 - these are the cheapest in the UK, you can get cheaper from HongKong Foey http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/H7-68-LED-FRONT-FOGL...20b804571e

Update:
120 LED:

Nope - I was suprised as I didnt think they were can bus friendly.

You can turn the bulb warning off with the likes of nav-coder of course if you have it. As I say though, no warning on this for mine...

Fantastic, ordered. Thanks Dan!

Probably plenty of resistance in all the bonding = happy CAN bus.

I think you're right, on a single LED bulb I guess there is hardly any resistance. Where as on these bad boys there is probably enough for the puter to know the bulb is present.

I've just ordered the 120 version.I still want some for my fogs I think. Unless I can get some 200W ones in there? Twisted Evil

How do they react if you try to use them as dtrl's? I.e. set to say 30% brightness... do they light up fully? Just wondering Smile 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS

They do look pretty good Dan, nice and bright colour temp. I'm thinking of some for the spot and fog lights on the Mini, when all 6 lights are on, there's 450w of light output going through the loom via relays, no wonder the volt gauge drops to 12.5v, I dare say they would be ideal. 2006 Mercedes CLS
