I've had a long relationship with these guys, I bought my RRS SC from them from new and had all servicing done there, plus servicing on my TD6 and so far on the TDV8.

They are courteous, call me back when I ask, always price match and the work they do is always top notch.

The service team members I deal with are Steve Tait and Sam (can't remember his surname). Both are honest guys.

Today they quoted me £430 for an Inspection 2 Service on the TDV8 whiich I didn't think was too bad at all. THE INVENTOR OF THE TERM "FULL-FAT RANGE ROVER" :

Sounds good. I was quoted 490 for a td6 insp 1 (although got them down to 290!) My Previous RR's!

had cause to use them last week - not impressed

totally inflexible on prices and did a poor job in fixing range rover letters to the bonnet - only noticed when i got home but 'yellow' glue residue on a bonnet painted the day before

and wanted £100 per wheel to do a 'part' refurb when pristine charge less to do the full wheel (not just the face)

though the coffee machine produces good coffee

£100 per wheel from a land rover dealer doesn't sound too bad I thought. You kind of expect inflated prices from them. I wouldnt use them for stuff like that for that very reason. They only call in some mobile guy and then add their cut.


May as well call the mobile guy direct.  My Previous RR's!

i won't go into detail as thats between customer and dealer - but all my concerns have been addressed in a most professional manner

i'll be first to admit that first impressions are not always correct - so my apologies to stratstone nottingham

just a quick update - been to stratstone's this morning to sort out a few problems

first class service - the technician actually came to see me and explained various options

at no time was there any attempt to get me to sanction any work - in fact i was advised to leave things as they are as to spend money on such a minor issue was not worth it

and i got a gift of a nice stratstone umbrella
