i've noticed of late that when parked in access mode the rear nearside is 'lower' by about 1" than the offside

any thoughts please?

When you get out the car, that front corner will spring up. I believe that in access mode the threshold for height correction requests is increased.

To check:
Park up in standard height.
Open drivers window.
Leave engine running - get out of car.
Press the Access Mode button.

This will make the car check the height at each corner as it lowers - is it still lower on that corner?

My SW will only give you info if there is an actual recorded error. The height calibration section is being worked on now.

Do bring the RR though if you can, I have the EAS Activate, this will read historical codes and clear any that are stored. Even plausibility errors and trigonometry errors will lock the EAS in standard height, so doubtful there will be stored codes.

Mine did this on the near side front, had the suspension software updated and he reset the height sensor values, good as new.

I'm not sure what would cause this but noticed recently on mine the sensor on the rear of the car had broken and the rubber had perished quite badly. The perished part was where it attached to the rear suspension with a 10mm nut and bolt and broken at the top where it attaches to the plastic arm.

Also the rear sensors are attached to the car with a little metal plate but two allen screws so they could easily get bent or moved.

Do not disconect the sensor though I did as mine was broken and put the suspension into a hard fault which I will now have to get reset.

I spoke to a Indy Land Rover agent who claimed all new sensors have to be calibrated to the car??

So when you lowered the car from outsie the car its fine?

If so, when you get out the car the lack of your weight on the osf spring will cause it to raise. This will also slightly raise the NSF and the OSR but the NSR will stay the same.

Think of a table with 4 legs - then raise one leg up half an inch. The opposite corner will be lower than the raised leg and the other two will be slightly higher too.

Does that make sense?
