Sorry Landmark but I disagree…and so do JLR.
2010/2011’s were originally fitted with standard 019 type batteries but very soon all recalled to upgrade to AGM type because of the number of problems.

Fit an AGM. As above, LR soon regretted fitting non-AGM and swapped them out. Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

My old one is AGM I believe…. The one I picked up from JLR last week definitely is.

So our car was more or less dead this morning, I’m hoping its the battery.

Do I understand it correct that if I change it to a new non-agm then its just a straight swap but if I upgrade to an AGM then it also needs a software update/setting?

Can any garage do this or do i need to go to LR?

Don't worry about the BMS reset for Monday. Most folks don't do it and the car is usually fine.
Fit an AGM if you can but in an emergency then personally I wouldn't be too worried. LR fitted them from new before moving to AGM

I recently got a Bosch S5 AGM 019 (I think Bosch call them 013) for £152 delivered from EBay.

Went for a Varta Silver G14 AGM, 12 V, 950 ah, 850 cca.

No idea what this means but seems to match up with what others have posted.

Equivelant of 295 gbp in Sweden, great country....
