United Kingdom 2015 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Causeway Grey
Replacement Key

So chaps, I have the chance to buy a Repossessed 2007 vse cheap enough to take a punt on not seeing it running (haven’t done anything silly yet this month !). What could possibly go wrong ? However trying to get my head around the no key bit and how I would go about a replacement, I have IID so guess I can program it to the car but what do I do about getting it cut to the barrel ?

All suggestions well received including the ones mocking my madness !!! 2015 L405 Range Rover 4.4Sdv8 Vogue SE, Baltic Blue, Ivory

I don't think you'll be able to do anything with the IID until you've got a blade as you won't be able to switch the ignition on.

If you get in touch with your local LR dealer with your chassis number and a copy of your logbook, they can order you a key. I don't think they come coded though so you'd probably still need your IID tool once you'd got the key.

Thanks both, Boyd Beatie looks promising, will try to avoid main steeler prices unless absolutely necessary. If I press the buy button on this one I’m going to try and do it on the cheap as a project. Right but cheap money on OE parts but labour free if I do it myself 2015 L405 Range Rover 4.4Sdv8 Vogue SE, Baltic Blue, Ivory

I’ve just done a lot of work to my SC myself and have used Duckworths LR (Forum Sponsor) for 99% of my parts.

Genuine parts aren’t as expensive as you might think for some things and are usually a far better quality.

If there’s anything you need, email Duckworths for prices, doesn’t hurt to ask and you’ll sometimes be pleasantly surprised.
