South Africa 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Luxor

Daveo, the paddles just slot in exactly the same way the back spoke covers do. In my general gallery on disco3 there is a diagram but no picture (sorry). By the way, if you remove the steering wheel then unscrew the little torx screw from the front of the wheel, then u just pull hard on the back spoke cover from the direction of the wheel hub centre, and they pull off really easy without breaking. Had mine in and out a few times when I was fitting the paddles.
Hope this makes any sense at all Wink

And enough South African comments, you lot

Steering wheel has just arrived and looks great. Hoping to get some time to fit it later. The instructions talk about knowing the cars radio code before disconnecting the battery. Any ideas where I would find it and has anyone experienced needed it when changing their steering wheel?

Thanks

We dont have radio codes - we do have a security code, but unless you enter this every morning you don't have to worry.

My wheel came with a hook tool, but that was wrong, it should have been a long thin tool. When I double checked, my instructions were from a RRS.

After 10 minutes of poking about with this hook thing it didnt take too long at all. It helps to have the new wheel to look at for reference.

Fitted!!! Thumbs Up
Took some time to get the airbag off and the bolt holding the steering wheel in place was done up pretty tight.
Also had "air sus inactive" come up after re connecting battery but full lock both ways sorted that out.

Cheers lads. Just the black leather dash now and the interior will be sorted.
Fingers crossed on the arm rest mate, if it's good I'll be getting one as well. FFRR TD6 HSE
