I know that push start is on the latter ones but has anyone fitted or thought about fitting push start in the ealier ones just to update it a bit, I been thinking about it but I would want it to look factory ish not to worried about all the unlock with no key as you walk up to it
I have see a few advertised from China that have all the works but would still like a Range Rover style key any thoughts people. I know the easiest way would be just to buy a latter one but I like where I have got mine with engine and oil changes and TLC I have give it

Wish mine still had a proper key if I’m honest. You won’t get any factory stuff to fit your car as it’s a different system, so you will have to go after market. Might be fairly involved as the transponder in your key is used to unlock steering lock etc when you turn it….

Are you thinking something like you still use your key to put ignition on, and then a button to start? Think the smart key thing, so it realises it’s in the car, might get complicated, no matter where it’s sourced from.

Yes something like that bit like a bmw. I have a 1 series and you still have to put a key of sort in a slot to undo steering lock and then just start on the button.
