Have you got the tow bar socket (armature) fitted already?

tow bar cover?..

under the back you might have a 2'' square hole where the towbar slides into..if you have and you have electrics to the left ,you only need to buy the bit that goes in there....if you haven't then its a complete install for which there is loads of info on the forum re that..

as in the small plastic insert in the rear bumper that can be removed for your tow bar to go, I don't think I do have this square, don't really want the full install as I don't like the look of it, and just wanted one to remove and then fit when trailering

I have the Overfinch rear bumper where there's a slot for the towbar, I'm not sure about this square will look when I finish work, what if there isn't a square? a full towbar needed?

seems as good a place to post this as anywhere!!!

i changed the twin electrics on my car at the weekend to a single 13 pin euro socket to match up with my new caravan.

had the boot and doors open, ignition switched on to check all wires do what they supposed to with multi meter and some banging tunes ringing out.. Laughing

finished job and went back inside.

came out this morning to go to work for first time this week and got the click of death.... Shocked flat battery syndrome.... Sad

moral of the story, when using the battery power for a long period, make sure the car starts before you go in doors.

fortunately i have a jumper pack always in the car..... still feel a proper plonker though!!! Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

Wiggins, you might not be able to fit a towbar with your back bumper.

I am sure there were 2 versions available - with or without towbar.
