agreed, the sales people make a fair bit of commission off of selling with new cars, you can get just as good treatment for a lot less.

It's £10 worth of poorly-applied polymer sealant, one of the biggest dealer scams around.

i would like to say, yes it is a con, but i had it put on my wifes car when we bought it. funnily enough my son worked as a technician in the very same garage... Rolling Eyes

i think it is the best thing since sliced bread!! doesn't matter how long or how dirty the car is, the muck just washes off and leaves the car looking fab after a quick wash.

i have also had it applied inside and out to my new caravan, which cost more than the RR so i thought it was a good idea to keep it all sparkling and stop the dirt getting into the paint.

just of course my opinion about this product. Current: TDV8 Vogue Zambezi Silver

Past: TD6 Vogue
D2 V8 ES
D1 V8 ES
RR Vogue Classic

If you have to have it there's a lot better products out there. Nanolex to name but 1.

As with all stuff like this, 90% is down to the bloke putting it on. Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.

It's a huge earner for dealers.
It must be IMO as it's about £10 to £20 of product that takes a few hours to apply properly.

Did my latest vehicle myself.

I was given the bottles of 'stuff' by a guy from a dealer, I tried it...not impressed but maybe I did a crap job!

Anyway, I threw them away at the weekend after sitting on the shelf for years. THE INVENTOR OF THE TERM "FULL-FAT RANGE ROVER" :

Thanks guys, I think I'll save the £500 and spend a day polishing myself with one of those products you mention.
Have to admit I rarely clean my vehicles these days Embarassed , perhaps that comes with age as I'd lovingly clean every weekend whan I was in my teens Very Happy
